What is Gatehouse Maritime’s Maritime Domain Monitor?
Maritime Domain Monitor is a web-based solution for viewing and analyzing various maritime data such as AIS (terrestrial and/or satellite-based), LRIT etc.. It is the primary point of access to most of our solutions, and it includes our interactive map with a basic overview of vessel locations. Add reporting tools, offshore or subsea asset protection solutions, extended vessel information and advanced analytics to get full situational awareness.

Features
World Map
- View all vessels worldwide on an interactive map.
- Visualization of historical track.
Legend
- Color vessels (Ship type, source type, transponder type or target age)
- Toggle ship visibility by selected coloring type or toggle all ships on/off
Vessel Search
- Search by Name, IMO, MMSI or Call Sign.
Ship Card Info
- Static vessel details such as IMO, width, length, AIS type.
- Dynamic updated vessel information such as Heading, SOG, COG and ROT.
- Link to shipspotting.com for vessel photos.
WMS Layers
- Create, update, display and delete personalized WMS layers.
- Interactive layer control rearranges the order by drag-and-drop of each layer individually.
- Switch between 2 base layers (Open Street Map, S-57).
Filters and Shapes
- Generate, search, and apply custom filters based on fields, operators, and values.
- Generate, search, and delete various shapes (Points, Lines, Polygons, Circles)
- Import shapes in the following formats (using coordinate system 4326): (Upload Shapefile (as zip), Insert GeoJson, Insert Well Known Text (WKT))
- Export shapes in GeoJSON format
Measure Tool
- Measures distance in multiple segments and provides Estimated Time of Arrival for a given speed for measured distance.
- By clicking on a vessel, the vessels current SOG is used in calculation of ETA
